In Episode 1 of the This Life I Live podcast, I sat down with my good friend Warren Barfield. You may know Warren for his music. He was a very successful contemporary Christian artist in the early 2000’s, with a number his songs on the radio, or you have seen him later as he hosted marriage conferences and larger tours through years all across the country.
In 2017, he walked away form his music career and in time moved to a farm about 10 minutes from ours. After going completely dark on the internet for 7 years, he has only recently started writing, singing and sharing some of his music and his life via Instagram and has started hosting concerts in the barn at his farm.
In our conversation, we covered a lot of ground… from the reason he walked away from it all, why and how he picked us his guitar again, and even our own challenging journey to the friendship we have now.
